Sona Luxe+ | Best at-home sonic dermaplaning tool

I just bought this dermaplaning tool and so far I think it's great! I charged it for about 3 hours and was able to complete my entire face. It did shut off a few times during use but I just hit the power button and it turned right back on. This might be a safety feature, I don't know. Hopefully, it's not a sign that it's going to conqu out on me and quit working soon. However, I did fill out the register for a limited to your warranty just in case. I'm attaching a photo of my face/skin after dermaplaning the right side of my face (left in photo), and another photo after completing both sides of my face. In the first photo right side you might see several blackheads that were very visible after removing the peach fuzz hair and dead skin with this tool. In the second photo you'll notice less blackheads, after I used a clay mask by PDRM to draw out the impurities in my pores. I'm going to give a review for the PDRM mud mask next. I love both! If this tool doesn't quit working I think it's a great bargain considering the other brand name cost was $200 on sale. I believe the quality is just as good and I'll be using this tool a couple of times over the next week or two to ensure I get the remaining dead skin off, and then I'll use it every 2 to 4 weeks to maintain a clear glass skin appearance. It was easy to use, and I did use it on my nose. It says not to and I can see why as I got a tiny cut where there's an indent in my nose. The smoothness of my face is wonderful! The size is perfect and it fits in my hand well. The battery life lasted as long as it took to completely do my whole face, but as I mentioned it shut off a couple of times, but I simply hit the power button and turned it back on. It removed all the peach fuzz and a couple of coarse hairs that I've grown over the last 10 years. I'm 51 years old.

I am very pleased with this product and I am glad that I gave it a try. My face feels so much smoother and I think it looks a lot better after I apply my makeup. I do have to use it about every other week. I did have a lot of blonde fine facial hair and luckily it hasn’t come back any darker or thicker…I was a little worried about that. I do have to go over my face a couple times to make sure I remove it all. I’ve been using it for a couple months now. The only regret is that I wish I would have spent a little more and got the Sonicsmooth Pro one that has the LED light. I would recommend this product!

It definitely removed peach fuzz from my face sides & upper lip !

I’ve been using this on my chin to eliminate unwanted hair. I need to use it every other day. I stretch the usage of each blade longer than I probably should. Maybe up to a week on each blade. I do put it in the charger after every use. Im giving it a 4 star because I wish when I do use it I would get a smoother chin.

The Sona Beauty device is SO cool. I’ve done dermaplaning before at a med spa but I love being able to do this at home. The best part is the light feature so you can see exactly what you’re getting! Be sure to pair this with the hair identifier spray so you don’t leave anything behind.

Fantastic product!! I have loved this tool..my skin feels so smooth and soft after using this and I notice my skincare products seep into my skin so much easier after using it. I use it once a week and I have noticed a big improvement in how my skin looks and feels!!

I am really enjoying the Sona Luxe+. The device itself and the replacement blades have all been great and I’ve gotten a lot of use out if it. My face feels super smooth after using it and I feel like me skin care products are able to penetrate much better. It also helps me shed my dry skin from using tretinoin and the faster cell turnover that causes.

I have been using the product for a year and it’s great! I have many compliments and feel my skin rejuvenated each time. Recently, I had an issue with the handle but when I reached out to Sona Beauty they were extremely helpful- especially Ken- the customer service manager who offered to make things right so I had a good customer experience.

This is a great tool and left my skin feeling very smooth and clean. After a couple of years I had some issues with it working correctly so noticing the three year warranty I reached out to the company and asked about a replacement. Ken was my customer service representative and was excellent! He quickly responded and honored the warranty immediately! The process was as pain-free as the tool!

I’ve always been a little intimidated by dermaplaning at home, so I wanted something that felt beginner-friendly. After trying the Sona Beauty, I can honestly say it was much easier than I expected.The device feels comfortable to hold, and the sonic technology made the process feel gentle rather than harsh. It removed the fine peach fuzz and left my skin feeling really smooth without any irritation. Right after using it, my serum absorbed beautifully, and my makeup looked noticeably more even.I also like that it comes with multiple replacement blades and has a solid, well-made feel. The built-in eyebrow trimmer is a nice extra for quick touch-ups.

I felt this would be the perfect facial razor and last longer than the AAA battery kind since it is rechargeable. The provided extra blades are a nice feature but they are not as sharp as the one on a battery razor. It just isn’t as easy to shave the fine hairs. Since I’ve only had it a couple of weeks I’ll keep it and see if I just need to learn how to hold it at a different angle for better results.

If you find yourself dermaplaning regularly, then this is a very worthwhile tool to have in your skincare arsenal. Dermaplaning is also a great way to exfoliate your skin.. it is beneficial for a youthful complexion.I used manual blades for a long time. They work, but not as well as this tool.The weight & texture of the handle is balanced.. feels good to use & the wider handle also makes it easier for those with arthritic hands.The light feature on the Luxe+ is worth paying up for (and you get extra blades!).Easy to travel with (yes, I could take this on the plane.. just keep the blade separate).Pay attention to 3 things:(1) dermaplane is best done on clean, dry skin.. ideally before bed.. use a nice oil (Mad Hippie or Clairins) afterwards for max beauty results.(2) don't drag the blade across your face.. use shorter strokes instead.(3) pay close attention to their charging instructions to avoid battery degradation.*****NOTE: I had a problem with my device not holding a charge properly pretty much from day 1. 6 months later, it got bad enough that I had to contact Sona customer service. Amazing 5-star service. Quick to reply, and helped me quickly resolve the problem.This is why you should buy a Sona dermaplane vs the others.Go get one.. you'll love it!
